I knew from our first meeting with Micah and Taylor that they were going to be a lot of fun. At the same time, though, they are sincere and genuine. This was a little bitter-sweet since I knew I wouldn't be shooting this one. Taylor called one evening a bit distraught, saying her videographer had fell through. I was already booked on her date but luckily Alec was available and did an excellent job capturing the essence of the day.

Kensie & George had the coolest backyard wedding in Yukon. I loved shooting with them, they were so laid back and fun and you could feel the love and closeness between them. The reception rocked all night with Born in November taking the stage. Kensie and George left the music up to me as part of the creative process, which I always love. This was one of my favorites.

If you're involved in the film community in Oklahoma, you know Brent and Trang. They are talented filmmakers and I was flattered that they would commission me to film their wedding. Some couples don't recognize the difference between amateur and professional wedding filmmaking. There's a technical side, knowing what camera settings and lenses to use but there's also a style side. Brent and Trang connected with my style, and I'm looking for other couples that recognize that this is an art form, not just putting a zoom lens on a dslr and putting it on a slider or walking around with a wide angle lens on a steadicam all day. For me there is purpose in each lens selection, for me it's a craft. 

This is why I always bring long lenses! Sometimes we have to shoot from a substantial distance, and I don’t want you to look like ants on the screen. I strive to be prepared for any situation so my clients always have the best shot despite the
