I like Zach and Emily, they prove that opposites attract. Emily was kind of shy and quiet while Zach was confident and outgoing. I work well with all personalities though. It's not my intention to become the main focus at your wedding but more of an observer, stealthy and inconspicuous to get the shots my eye is drawn to.

When Jamie contacted me about her son's wedding in Dallas I was sad because, well I had already booked the date, and I really really wanted to be a part of it. I had already shot her daughter's wedding and I really loved this family. It's the kind of family you hope your family resembles some day. Kensie & George had the coolest backyard wedding in Yukon. I loved shooting with them, they were so laid back and fun and you could feel the love and closeness between them. The reception rocked all night with Born in November taking the stage. Kensie and George left the music up to me as part of the creative process, which I always love. This was one of my favorites.

If you're involved in the film community in Oklahoma, you know Brent and Trang. They are talented filmmakers and I was flattered that they would commission me to film their wedding. Some couples don't recognize the difference between amateur and professional wedding filmmaking. There's a technical side, knowing what camera settings and lenses to use but there's also a style side. Brent and Trang connected with my style, and I'm looking for other couples that recognize that this is an art form, not just putting a zoom lens on a dslr and putting it on a slider or walking around with a wide angle lens on a steadicam all day. For me there is purpose in each lens selection, for me it's a craft.
